The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth in South Korea by maximizing the performance of existing channel partners. This role focuses on deepening partner engagement, improving pipeline quality, and executing joint go to market activities to increase market penetration and sales effectiveness.

 

The role works closely with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure channel partners are fully enabled and aligned with regional business priorities.

Responsibilities

Channel Performance Management:

  • Manage and grow revenue through assigned existing channel partners in South Korea
  • Drive partner accountability through regular pipeline reviews, forecasts, and business reviews
  • Identify gaps in partner performance and implement improvement plans

Partner Enablement and Engagement:

  • Strengthen relationships with key partner stakeholders and sales teams
  • Ensure partners are enabled with product knowledge, sales tools, and marketing resources
  • Coordinate partner training, certifications, and joint customer activities
  • Support partners on deal strategy, pricing alignment, and solution positioning

Pipeline and Revenue Growth:

  • Work with partners to build and maintain a healthy, qualified sales pipeline
  • Drive opportunity progression from lead to close through partner collaboration
  • Partner closely with internal sales and applications engineering teams to support partner led opportunities
  • Deliver assigned revenue and growth targets through the channel

Go to Market Execution:

  • Execute joint marketing and demand generation initiatives with partners
  • Support local campaigns, events, and customer engagements
  • Provide market feedback and partner insights to regional teams

Reporting and Insights:

  • Maintain accurate and up to date partner pipeline, forecasts, and opportunity data in Salesforce
  • Provide regular updates on partner performance, pipeline health, and key risks
  • Track partner KPIs and contribution to overall business results
  • Ensure data accuracy and timely updates to support regional forecasting and decision making
  • Share competitive, customer, and market insights relevant to South Korea

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years experience in channel sales or partner management and driving revenue growth
  • Experience as a AVC Systems Engineer, Contractor and/or Consultant, third party control integration are desirable
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
  • Commercial mindset with strong pipeline discipline
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a market facing role
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in Korean and business level English
