Overview

The Sales Manager, US Distribution, will specialize in the sales and application of audio, video and control solutions within the Q-SYS distribution network. This person will work to identify and cultivate relationships with key team members of our distribution partners in order to maximize our opportunities and foster growth within our distribution channel. Additionally, this person will serve as the “voice” of the company in representing, demonstrating, educating and selling its products and solutions to customers in our distribution network.

 

Base Pay Range: $117,000 -- $171,00

 

The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. In addition to the base salary range, QSC offers a comprehensive package including but not limited to health benefits, 401K or Roth retirement plans, generous time off and profit sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Create, strengthen, and maintain relationships with our key Q-SYS Distributors in order to drive increased visibility and grow the distribution partnerships at a corporate level, a solution level, and with the sales teams to ensure a healthy, successful, and mutually beneficial partnership is realized.
  • Manage account details, including sales forecasting, marketing plans, sales programs, inventory requirements and training.
  • Work with the US Distribution Sales team to demonstrate products, design systems, provide training, support sales activities, visit distribution partners and the sites of AV opportunities.
  • Assist distributors, and their dealers, with large project opportunities. Attend regional, national, and internal meetings as required. Frequent travel is required to visit key decision makers at each distributor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related technology field (preferred).
  • Industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I (preferred).
  • Additional AV and IT certifications are valued.
  • Experience in AV system design and sales engineering is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in audio, video, control, and networking technologies.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and AV industry-specific software.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and partnership development within the AV/IT distribution channel (minimum 5 years of experience).
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, primarily within the U.S., with occasional international travel.
