Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Analyst to join our team at QSC. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our ESG initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting our commitment to sustainability.

 

Base Pay Range: $38/hr. - $51hr.
We will be accepting applications until a final candidate is identified.
 
The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. In addition to the base salary range, QSC offers a comprehensive package including but not limited to health benefits, 401K or Roth retirement plans and generous time off.

Responsibilities

Data collection and analysis:
• Coordinate across departments to collect and analyze data, such as carbon emissions and waste
• Collect information and respond to customer requests related to our sustainability practices and performance

 

ESG Strategy and Implementation
• Support the ESG Manager to develop and implement the ESG strategy, and track and monitor the KPIs
• Provide the ESG Manager with support for other ESG-related tasks

 

Regulatory and Reporting Compliance
• Stay informed about relevant regulations and industry standards in sustainability and ESG
• Demonstrate knowledge of reporting frameworks and ratings, such as GRI, CSRD, and SASB, to support accurate and transparent reporting

 

Communication and Documentation
• Draft materials to prepare for ESG Committee Meetings such as presentations and pre-read documents
• Write updates and ESG Newsletters to keep internal and external stakeholders informed about our sustainability efforts
• Maintain the ESG SharePoint and Confluence pages to ensure easy access to relevant information and resources

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus
• Ideally 2-4 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data collection and analysis
• Experience working with various stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise documents, reports, and presentations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; familiarity with carbon emissions management or reporting tools is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (e.g. GRI, CSRD, SASB) and regulations (e.g. ESPR, CS3D)
• Passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact
