Overview

Reporting to the VP Marketing, Q-SYS, the Cloud and Ecosystem Product Marketing, Senior Manager will spearhead segment marketing initiatives for Q-SYS’ Cloud Solutions (SaaS / software business model) solutions as well as Ecosystem partnership solutions. This position must exercise a combination of technical expertise (particularly Microsoft Azure as well as specific experience around IoT ecosystem/automation technology), market analysis, strategic vision, and GTM execution for SaaS solutions and Ecosystem collaborations to ensure the successful execution of product initiatives and the achievement of company objectives. 

 

This role will lead the organization’s understanding the Cloud/Ecosystem segment markets and providing that expertise through research and voice-of-the-customer activities internally and externally, and have proven experience in driving drive marketing strategies across IT stakeholders. This position will balance research and feedback provided by Regional Marketing and with Product Development to understand the customer journey in these segments, and design programs to increase top-of-funnel awareness, generate demand and enable sales in key segments.

 

This position will deliver these insights to their counterpart in Product Development (Director, Cloud and Control Product Strategy Leader), and then work with the Q-SYS Marketing team to develop messaging and NPI/GTM (Go-to-Market) strategy and execution.

 

Base Pay Range 125,000-170,000

Responsibilities

Research & Strategy: Lead strategic marketing across our cloud (Azure/IoT) & ecosystem solution segments and research areas, with a focus on deep market understanding, scientific rigor and strategic insight. Gather and leverage deep market insights, including market drivers, size, unmet needs, and key players through voice-of-the-customer, paid research, competitor data, to inform long term product development plans. Partner deeply with regional marketing and sales teams to create a balanced, unbiased, data-based evaluation of market needs for Americas, APAC, EMEA and SAARC, and thoroughly document and democratize regionally created MRDs and decision across these regions.

 

Outbound execution: Devise and execute outbound GTM strategy, crafting compelling value propositions and annual marketing execution plans, segment-based campaigns, and long-term strategic. Collaborate across the Q-SYS Marketing team and Q-SYS Partner Marketing Team to shape marketing activities, content creation, event marketing, lead generation, brand awareness, and sales enablement.  Make solutions recommendations on how Q-SYS Partners can be paired with new Q-SYS Product launches. Track and measure the effectiveness of cloud/ecosytstem focused marketing campaigns

 

Cross-segment Marketing Strategy: Provide your expertise/insight from a SaaS/cloud/ecosystem perspective on Q-SYS products/solutions that span across all focused segments

 

Sales Enablement: Drive direction for segment sales enablement and end-user training development for Cloud/Ecosystem;  Also maintain companywide visibility to product development roadmap for this segment through various communication means.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or a related field.  Masters/MBA preferred.
  • Extensive GTM knowledge in GTM strategy for SaaS & cloud-based products
  • At least 10+ years experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, product management, or market intelligence
  • At least 3 years experience with marketing solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure and other IoT automation technologies
  • Heavy experience mapping and optimizing customer journeys for IoT products
  • Experience using leading AI tools for data-driven research and decision-making
  • Strong networking capabilities to build relationships across various organizational levels and with customers.
  • Strong balance between analytical aptitude and visionary envelope-pusher who thrives in a data-driven environment
  • This role will be highly autonomous.  This is a new function for the organization so this person needs to be comfortable in defining that roadmap.
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actional insights, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
