QSC is looking for a UX/UI Designer to create elegant and cohesive interfaces for Q-SYS, an industry leading audio, video, and control platform.  You will join an experienced and dynamic team of Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to take our cutting-edge product’s interfaces to the next level.  The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate complex workflows into intuitive, and functional user interfaces across a variety of platforms. This position is based in Bangalore.

• Direct the user interface, workflow and visual appearance of all new features and enhancements to Q-SYS, our world-class audio/video/control platform.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and customers to create amazing user interfaces over a variety of platforms and device front panel displays.
• Design and implement elegant software UI solutions to complex workflows.
• Create conceptual wireframes and user flow diagrams to solidify design direction.
• Guide the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to inform workflow design.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• A bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design or a related area.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience as a UX/UI Designer.
• Capable of leading UI design for a product.  Big picture thinking is required.  Must become an expert on industry and customer workflow expectations.
• Experience conveying designs in stories, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Strong collaboration skills with creative individuals.  Must be team oriented.
• Strong knowledge of different interface guidelines.
• Experience with design thinking and user-centered design methodologies, and knowledge of when to use them.
• Good knowledge of industry-standard tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.
• Excellent partner to software developers, providing timely definition, graphic assets, and guidance regarding UI implementation topics
• Experience with best design practices in one or more of these environments: Web, Windows, Mac, iOS & Android
• Experience in agile development process
• Familiarity with professional audio, video, and control products and systems is a big plus.
