Workflow planning: Plan multiple projects simultaneously.  Estimate, track & complete project on time and within budget.  Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of the engineering work associated with specific project task.  Develop technical project workflow plan, including key milestones, priorities and resource needs.  Reconcile inherent conflicts that exist in product design to achieve higher order business outcomes.

Risk mitigation and risk management: Identify technical program issues/risks and potential workaround and communicate details to the team.  Monitor key metrics for potential deviation in order to mitigate risk early and take appropriate action. Identify recommended changes where appropriate to ensure success criteria and deadlines are continuously met and provide information to the cross-functional team.

Analysis, Testing, and Qualification

Structural analysis of conceptual designs to determine viability.  Work with other disciplines and suppliers to ensure design is manufacturable and within BOM cost goals.

Hands-on involvement and oversight of product verification testing.  This includes troubleshooting and determining solutions

Team Leadership

Provide counsel and technical recommendations to cross functional team to ensure project progress and deliverables are met, raising issues that impede product viability.  Propose potential solutions to address issues and ensure all potential implications are considered.

Identify problems and actively devise appropriate solutions for both technical problems and those that may arise from differences in opinion.

Lead group of engineers and technicians.  Assure project milestones, scope, and timeline commitments are met.
