The QSC Senior Supply Planner/Master Scheduler holds a crucial leadership role in global and plant-level operations, contributing significantly to overall planning, scheduling, purchasing, execution, inventory management, and ERP planning systems processes. As a Senior Supply Planner/Master Scheduler at QSC, responsibilities include creating and managing the Master Production Schedule and Rough Cut Capacity Planning for both internal and external manufacturing sites. The primary objective is to optimize production, considering customer and forecast demand, production capacities, material availability, and resource requirements. Addressing production issues, risks, and proposing effective solutions is a key aspect of the role.

This position involves managing the timely creation and release of production work orders, ensuring material availability to support daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for in-house manufacturing. Utilizing ORACLE ERP and E2Open advance planning systems, the Senior Supply Planner/Master Scheduler analyzes production plans, material requirements, and material availability to support production activity and execution processes. Collaboration with engineering, purchasing, and production is essential to facilitate changes, ensuring appropriate configuration and communication of material requirements. Additionally, the role includes working with production leads on scheduling, capacity requirements planning, and providing input to management regarding delays in materials deliveries and/or production schedules.

Beyond planning and scheduling responsibilities, the Senior Supply Planner/Master Scheduler contributes to managing, controlling, and reporting companywide inventories and related activities. This involves interacting with various functions such as product managers, warehousing and logistics, sales, sales operations, tactical and strategic purchasing, and finance. The role extends to performing advanced business analytics and analysis to derive actionable insights and recommendations related to production planning and inventory management. The Senior Supply Planner/Master Scheduler collaborates closely with the management team, strategic purchasing, and internal customers to identify and implement strategic objectives for improving planning, scheduling, and inventory performance. The role also includes handling special analytical projects and assisting in the implementation or development of systems, tools, applications, and processes for moderately complex data capture and business analysis. With above-average knowledge of APICS and MRP planning systems, the Senior Supply Planner/Master Scheduler plays a crucial role in aligning and optimizing ORACLE ERP and E2PR advance planning systems across all business areas. This encompasses master data management and ERP planning system setup to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and predictability in production planning, materials requirements planning, and inventory control. The work involves a balance of independent and collaborative efforts.
