  • Overview

    QSC is searching for a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) for Live Sound who will be responsible for the creation, presentation, curation, and refinement of product marketing content for our diverse portfolio of live sound products and solutions. By your efforts, QSC Live Sound products’ features and benefits will be well-articulated and understood, as well as broadly and uniformly utilized by end-users, channel and marketing partners, QSC representatives and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a highly-developed ability to articulate pro audio product attributes in both technical and practical terms, a solid understanding of the myriad and differentiated needs of live sound users across a broad range of applications, and have a demonstrable portfolio of work indicating an extraordinary level of attention to detail.


    This position reports to the Sr. Director of Global Marketing – Live Sound and is global in scope. The PMM is not required to work at our headquarters in Southern California but must be able to interface with the Costa Mesa team in real-time at regular intervals.


    • Create product launch, campaign and sales-enablement source content for all customer-facing assets, collateral and sales tools (e.g., spec sheets, brochures, packaging, website, partner marketing vehicles, etc.)
    • Maintain, manage and control product marketing asset libraries for the benefit and use of both internal and external stakeholders
    • Develop, maintain and communicate consistent messaging guides, positioning statements, presentations and identity guidelines for the product portfolio
    • Ensure “single source of truth” regarding the presentation of Live Sound products across all mediums
    • Develop positioning and persona-based messaging that resonates with customers across a diverse range of applications in myriad, differentiated, global markets
    • Equip sales channel partners with compelling tools that help facilitate sales in the field
    • Review sales and marketing partner content for accuracy of product representation and voice
    • Create and provide original content for sales channel partners as required
    • Create, maintain and utilize a portfolio of technical terms and product descriptions that minimize incidences of translation error
    • Work in an advisory role to product management, providing feedback, data, insight, etc. from customers and sales channel personnel in the field
    • Work in collaboration with the training team to ensure that all materials are accurate, on-message and flawlessly articulated both in written and spoken (video) formats
    • Actively engage in social media as the QSC Live Sound subject-matter expert, both proactively and in community discussion
    • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time. Valid passport required


    Minimum qualifications:

    • 5+ years’ experience in product management, product marketing, application engineering or related disciplines, particularly within the pro audio, live sound and musical instrument space.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be captivating storyteller
    • Must possess an impeccable eye for detail
    • Demonstrated proficiency with the operation and deployment of live sound reinforcement products
    • Track record of building and executing successful launches, campaigns and go-to-market plans
    • Ability to solve problems quickly and resourcefully, with effective communication and presentation skills and demonstrated success at working with cross-functional teams

    Desirable qualifications:

    • BA/BS degree in a marketing discipline or equivalent practical experience
    • Experience working in a global (international) capacity
    • Ability to speak, read and write in languages other than English
